SERDA at the Adriatic Health Summit 2026 in Fojnica

The Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency SERDA, as an institutional partner of the event, actively participated in the Summit, with a SERDA representative taking part in a panel discussion dedicated to development potential, investments and regional cooperation.

During the discussion, the importance of connecting the public and private sectors, development institutions, healthcare institutions and tourism organisations was highlighted with the aim of creating competitive and sustainable tourism products. Particular emphasis was placed on the potential of health and wellness tourism as an area that can contribute to local and regional economic development, create new business opportunities, attract investment and improve the overall tourism offer of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Summit participants discussed the future of health and wellness tourism, new investments, modern technologies and innovations, as well as opportunities for stronger regional cooperation. Through panel discussions, expert lectures and presentations, experiences and examples that can contribute to the further development of the sector were presented.

Through its participation in the Adriatic Health Summit and its institutional support for the event, SERDA continues to contribute to initiatives aimed at sustainable economic development, strengthening competitiveness, tourism development and connecting relevant stakeholders at the local, regional and international levels.

The Adriatic Health Summit 2026 also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new contacts and discuss future partnerships and projects that can contribute to making better use of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s significant potential in the field of health, spa and wellness tourism.
