SERDA and the Cantonal Public Institution “Family Counseling” sign Protocol on Cooperation

The cooperation will focus on identifying common needs, developing new initiatives and preparing projects that can be financed from domestic and international sources, as well as through European Union programmes. Particular importance is placed on linking SERDA’s development and project capacities with the professional knowledge and experience of Family Counseling in providing support to individuals and families.

The planned areas of cooperation include the prevention of social exclusion, strengthening social inclusion, lifelong learning, competence development and non-formal education, as well as the development and testing of innovative services and approaches. The partnership opens up opportunities for the joint organisation of training sessions, workshops, conferences and other professional events, the implementation of research and analyses, and the exchange of good practices with domestic and international partners.

Through its experience in the preparation and implementation of international projects, SERDA will provide Family Counseling with information on funding opportunities, project partnerships and international networks, while Family Counseling will contribute to joint activities through its professional knowledge and expertise in its field of work.

By signing the Protocol, the two institutions are establishing a basis for concrete cooperation that will be developed through jointly agreed activities and projects, in accordance with their respective competences and available capacities.

Through this partnership, SERDA and Family Counseling confirm their commitment to connecting different professional and institutional resources, developing new opportunities for cooperation, and implementing initiatives that contribute to the well-being of citizens and the sustainable development of Sarajevo Canton.
